In MS Word, the "No language" option doesn't exist. But they use the "Do not check spelling or grammar" option for the same result - to cancel hyphenation for a single word or text passage.

If it is not there, you can also add this command to the status bar via Tools > Customize (search for "Current language" command on the top left of the Customize dialog box).

TextMaker 2024 and earlier used Ctrl+-(alphabetical keyboard) for Soft hyphen and Ctrl+-(Num pad) for En dash.
TextMaker 2026 uses Ctrl+- (for both alphabetical keyboard and Num pad) for zoom out. And Ctrl++ for zoom in.
And Soft hyphen Is now Alt+Ctrl+- in 2026.

This is a document option and not a global setting. You cannot uncheck it generally for all documents.
But you can save the "Normal.pmvx" template with this option unchecked, then all new documents based on "Normal.pmvx" (this is the default template when you open PlanMaker) will open with this ...

File | Options >> Appearance tab. There is a button "User interface size" which opens another dialog box to adjust the size of icons.

When you only have the group Spelling on the Review tab, it sounds like you are using FreeOffice instead of SoftMaker NX.
(Or you are using the old settings from FreeOffice).

Maybe you should do this:
- Close TextMaker
- Rename your Settings folder for SoftMaker\Settings in your Documents folder ...

Some shortcuts have been re-assigned, because it was integrated the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+V for inserting unformatted text, as it is used in many other applications too.
