Issue with writing dates using Eastern Arabic numerals
When I write a date in text maker using Eastern Arabic numerals from right to left—starting with the day, then the month, and finally the year—and then save, close, and reopen the document, the date appears reversed (starting with the year, then the month, and then the day). Is there a solution to this problem that preserves the date format so it does not change when the document is reopened?
Re: Issue with writing dates using Eastern Arabic numerals
Please enable the extended Arabic-text support and set the affected paragraph to right-to-left:
- Open File | Options | General.
- Enable Extended support for Arabic text.
- Right-click the affected paragraph and select Paragraph.
- On the Paragraph tab, set Text direction to Right to left.

I followed the instructions, but the problem persists.

Re: Issue with writing dates using Eastern Arabic numerals
The screenshots show that the date order changes after reopening the DOCX, even with Arabic support and right-to-left paragraph direction enabled. I have forwarded the details for further investigation.
To help narrow down the issue, please also save the document in TextMaker format (*.tmdx), close it, and reopen it. Does the date order change in that format as well?
