[New proposal] Add a ‘Dark Documment' feature to the Presentation software for computers and mobile phones

I also have a new idea to help improve Softmaker’s software. At present, the Presentation software does not support a ‘Dark Document’ feature at all, unlike Textmaker and Planmaker.

In my opinion, adding this feature would make the office suite complete in terms of ‘Dark Document’ functionality. I believe this feature is feasible for Presentation. It simply changes the background colour of the slide, whilst the content remains clearly visible.

This is my new proposal, which is more recent than my previous suggestions.

Seeing a pure white slide page at night can be dazzling. Black is the best color at night—it’s easier on the eyes. His suggestion makes perfect sense. He has the users’ best interests at heart.

Let’s appreciate his suggestions. Why would you say the features he suggested are useless or unreasonable? The features he suggests, such as Auto Fit, the Draw tab, etc., are all useful for users. And he’s also written about their benefits.

Please don’t make unfounded assumptions. He doesn’t have the time to post nonsense or spam. If these were spam, unreasonable, or useless suggestions, Softmaker would have deleted them long ago. But this time, they haven’t deleted them.

TextMaker, PlanMaker and Presentations are the best-rated Office apps in Google Play. It seems other users don't feel it "falls short of its competitors".

Really? How so? Have you considered how it would work if you were using a complex template? How would it work if you have a template that provided different backgrounds and/or title colours? What if the background is an image or texture? What if is a mix of background and image?
This proposal parts from a wrong premise: All presentations have a white background.
Then... Have you considered that presentations, for they very nature, must have good contrast to ensure that when they are projected people can actually see what is on them? Altering/modifying the colours to accommodate this feature would impact negatively in this regard. Anyone who knows a little bit about basic colour theory will reach this same conclusion...
So, this is the reason why I say is ridiculous and useless, and why Woddy stated that shows he does not understand what the purpose of presentations is.

Unfounded? I would say that posting twice a day, and every post is a request that makes no sense or adds nothing of value can be considered as such. There is a reason why the SoftMaker team have asked you and your friend to stop suggesting features, and most of what you suggest remains unanswered. Don't you get the hint? The only reason I have started to answer this is because of how annoying has become and how much these daily features suggestions affects the dynamics of this forum. Have you considered for a second, how easy is for a real serious problem to be lost between all the nonsense you and your friend keep posting every day and how it also increases the number of requests the SoftMaker Teams has to go thought? No, you haven't, because all you care about is what you want.

No one else have complained about these kinds of things, as long as I have been a SoftMaker user, which is significatively longer than you have. There is a difference between being picky freak and being pragmatic. You can come and ask for UI changes that goes against every UI design principle and disregard what old time/core users use/need, or simply stop using incredibly long names, that can't even be read in a file manager, which is, by the way, a terrible practice that should be avoided.

There have been some of us who have leaved over the years negative feedback, and most concerns have been, eventually, being addressed, given they are sensible, make sense, are doable, fit with what SoftMaker has in mind for future releases and the team have the resources and manpower to do so. And then... You got on this point an official answer which, clearly is contrary to your statement.
One thing is, once in a while, suggest something, that one may think is a good idea, even if in reality is utterly nonsense, and another is when you do that on daily bases.
What tells you that his posts get "more and more views"? The counter? How do you know is people who are viewing his posts and not bot scrappers? Somehow did you got access to the SM server logs to verify who is visiting this forum and viewing your friend's posts?

The Softmaker team has provided feedback on the post suggesting features like SmartArt, Slicer, and automatic document comparison, and has forwarded it to the relevant department. Recently, the suggestion to improve horizontal swipe support for viewing page numbering styles in the Page Number section received a response from Softmaker, confirming that it had been forwarded.

And features like changing the color of the title bar, toolbar, quick access toolbar, ruler, status bar, and Important View mode are exactly the kinds of feature suggestions that will help Softmaker outperform Microsoft—because Microsoft has always lacked these features and has instead been cramming in useless ones.
