[New proposal] Add a ‘Dark Documment' feature to the Presentation software for computers and mobile phones

Post by Văn Quang Nguyễn VN »

I also have a new idea to help improve Softmaker’s software. At present, the Presentation software does not support a ‘Dark Document’ feature at all, unlike Textmaker and Planmaker.

In my opinion, adding this feature would make the office suite complete in terms of ‘Dark Document’ functionality. I believe this feature is feasible for Presentation. It simply changes the background colour of the slide, whilst the content remains clearly visible.

This is my new proposal, which is more recent than my previous suggestions.
I didn't know much about the English language, so I had to use a translation tool. I love Vietnam. My hometown 🇻🇳 🇻🇳 🇻🇳 🇻🇳

The errors he reported are software errors that I consider very serious. A first-time user who sees text that’s all jumbled together won’t understand what it’s trying to convey, leading to mistakes and having to redo the work. Then there are errors where text is cut off or missing characters, making it impossible for new users to understand the content. Do you really want Softmaker’s software to fall short of its competitors?

I actually think this feature is really great. It’s helpful for users. It’s not unreasonable at all.

Seeing a pure white slide page at night can be dazzling. Black is the best color at night—it’s easier on the eyes. His suggestion makes perfect sense. He has the users’ best interests at heart.

Let’s appreciate his suggestions. Why would you say the features he suggested are useless or unreasonable? The features he suggests, such as Auto Fit, the Draw tab, etc., are all useful for users. And he’s also written about their benefits.

Please don’t make unfounded assumptions. He doesn’t have the time to post nonsense or spam. If these were spam, unreasonable, or useless suggestions, Softmaker would have deleted them long ago. But this time, they haven’t deleted them.

Let others use Dark Document. If you don’t like it, just don’t enable it. Don’t blame him.

His suggestions—such as allowing a horizontal swipe to view recent file names in the "Open" menu and adding support for a horizontal swipe to view page numbering—are all important features. Many mobile users are struggling because they can’t see the full file names, which leads to accidental taps. You have to turn your phone sideways to see them. This ruins the user experience.

There are other users who have never left any negative feedback before. This time, we’ve encountered someone who’s complaining. If you think the features he’s suggesting are unreasonable or useless, just ignore them. Let others use them. His posts are getting more and more views. One user even praised him, saying his suggestions are all useful features.

I really like the features he suggested. The bugs he reported. Softmaker has responded and hasn’t dismissed them as useless, unreasonable, or unnecessary. I also have other feature suggestions that they’re currently reviewing.

He also reported on features missing New. Then there was the issue of incorrect button labels in Character Style and Paragraph Style on the mobile version. These contributions are very helpful—they’re not useless, nor are they meant to tease anyone. I urge you to respect him. Never criticize his bug reports or suggestions.

The features he suggests are very valuable and benefit users—they’re not meant to harm users or anything like that. If you want the software to be better than the other one, just make a suggestion and leave it at that. It’s normal for him to report bugs. Those bugs bother me.

I hope you’ll all show him more respect. Never criticize him. If you don’t find his contributions useful, just ignore them. Others still appreciate them.

TextMaker, PlanMaker and Presentations are the best-rated Office apps in Google Play. It seems other users don't feel it "falls short of its competitors".

I know. I just reached a point where I felt I had to respond.
