I’ve downloaded the font, but I’m getting an error when typing certain Vietnamese characters

I downloaded the latest free font from Softmaker’s ‘free font. De’ website. I typed a few characters, but they weren’t uniform.

I previously downloaded the Micro font from Softmaker’s freefont.de, but I can type normally

The reason why you are seeing that is because the font does not support Vietnamese characters so Android uses a fallback. This means: another font is use for those characters that are not present in your chosen font. This is not an error, this is intended. This is how the system tells you: Your font does not support this characters, but I'll display them for you anyway so you can see what the text says.

The solution is simple: change the font to one that supports Vietnamese characters.
