First of all, I would like to state that although I do not use your program that often at all, as I use Corel Ventura Publisher and Adobe FrameMaker, every time a new version comes out, I buy to support the company as the price is extremely reasonable.
What really annoys me is the Welcome to TexMaker template pops up every time I start the text program. I go into the Documents folder and delete it, and it still gets created.
I look at the customization and settings and cannot find it. Maybe I'm too impatient to get this sorted out. Someone please help. It is very annoying and I don't need to see it more than once.
Default file when program starts

This original question was read over 3,000 times and yet not even one reply from the company.
How disappointed to have continued to support this program, which I don't even use on a regular basis.

Please try to be patient. Sometimes they’re too tired from work to respond. Or they might be busy working on the new NX 2026 mobile version.
Just be patient. Right now, that’s the only software that can meet the need to replace Microsoft Office. I’ve also submitted many feature requests.
Please wait. Don’t leave. Show some respect for the hard work of the Softmaker staff. Maybe they’re just too exhausted to reply, or they’re swamped with work.

They'll probably check the forum again and reply to you. Don't worry.

The file you speak is created the first time you lunch a new version. Once you remove it it should not appear again as long as you don't remove the SoftMaker folder or upgrade to a new version.

How do you know that? Is that really true?
To be honest, there was a post from back in May, and they didn’t respond until August (based on the Vietnamese calendar, since I live in Vietnam). Softmaker is very responsible. If they haven’t responded to a post yet, they will respond and apologize if it takes too long. Softmaker doesn’t delete posts indiscriminately.
Here’s a real-life example:
Lately, I’ve been posting feature suggestions. They didn’t respond. When I posted another one, they asked me to hold off while they reviewed it. This shows they do listen to users, but they’ll quietly take note.
I can assure you: Softmaker has likely already taken note of your post. Softmaker is very responsible. For any post that’s been up for a month without a response, they will respond and offer a sincere apology.
It’s best to leave this post alone. Softmaker has likely already quietly taken note of it. They may have a heavy workload and be exhausted, so they can’t respond to every single post.
