Beta 2 fails to install on CachyOS (arch linux)

Beta 1 installed with no problems but Beta 2 loops getting "Permission Denied" errors because it is attempting to modify the /usr directory without root permission. Previous versions only modify /home.

Apparently version 1417 did install but for some reason the install script is in an endless loop attempting to modify /usr.
