I have found it useful in other applications (such as Notepad++) to be able to view a single document - especially a long one - in multiple tabs, in order to see one portion of the document while working on a different, but related, portion of the text...or to be able to grab a portion of text from one place and paste it in a second area of the full text.
Even better if there's a way to view both tabs side-by-side...and also helpful to have zoom control over each tab, so they aren't required to be viewed at the same magnification.
Is this possible?
(if not, definitely a feature request)
View Single Doc within Multiple Tabs?
Re: View Single Doc within Multiple Tabs?
I just open two iterations of TextMaker and size each window to half the screen. That makes it very convenient for moving back and forth. Typically, I have a manuscript open in one window and the outline open in a second window.

Re: View Single Doc within Multiple Tabs?
Thank you Woody44. I tried what you suggested, and it's certainly workable - if I have two different files.
So I've made a copy and have the original in one iteration of TM, and the copy in the second iteration of TM.
I do wish, though, this could be done with a single file in 2, or even 3, panes...and within a single iteration of TM.
But short of that ideal, your idea works well, and I appreciate you sharing it with me.
