Dear SuperTech,
As you might have seen, I discovered a post with almost the same problem in the General section after posting here.
Like you advised there, I installed a new version over the existing one.
Everything went well, except the fact that my taskbar jumplists for TextMaker and PlanMaker ...

Re: Service Pack Update Fails to Download and Install
This seems to be the problem that I posted in the TextMaker section today.
The .msi file is still in my Download folder, so I better click on that one as soon as my computer will be in action again.
Happy to see I am not the only one with this problem.

Re: Softmaker folder in My Documents
If you mark the SoftMaker folder in Documents as "Hidden", it just stays there and you never ever need to think about it again.

Strange SoftMaker behaviour
Not very long ago I re-installed SoftMaker Free Office. Since then a few times the question came if I want to download a new Service Pack. Yes, of course!
The next thing was: “ No valid products found. Please repair the installation ”.
Also, as soon as I want to save a document, in .docx (my ...

Re: No longer able to change colours in charts
Indeed I had changed the colour of a graph segment thousands of times. But after a two-month break, I had apparently forgotten how to do it.
After double-clicking on the segment (no right-click in my case), a window opens that I have indeed also seen thousands of times. The bar at the top plays no ...

Re: No longer able to change colours in charts
To change the color in the chart, right-click on the bar and select **Series Properties**. Then go to the **Format** tab and, under the **Fill** section, choose your desired color.
This is complete Spanish to me (I don't speak Spanish). Please explain. Which bar?
I'll place 2 screenshots: 1 ...

No longer able to change colours in charts
Good morning,
Thousands of times I have changed colours in charts.
Suddenly today, the bar with the two colour editors disappears as soon as I click on a segment or column in a chart. It is replaced by another toolbar that is unusable to me.
I have searched for a long time, ‘repaired’ SoftMaker ...

Re: Disappearing data
Dear SuperTech,
What I did was just searching an outlet for my frustrations in this matter.
I use PlanMaker and then this happens now and then. While I am only drinking tea. My computer is as simple as possible: no special features.

Re: Disappearing data
Today again: document "Energy consumption" is open. Cloud service is off.
I drink 2 cups of tea and return to the computer.
The number of "Year consumption" is replaced by a ' w ' (again). No possibility to go back one step.
Close the document and don't save the changes. The only way out.

Re: Disappearing data
No, Sir,
At this moment the problem is not big enough to perform these steps.
I already explained how I manage the situation.
I can tell you I use no background software, macro automation, clipboard managers, or other utilities running that might interact with my open documents.
It's typical for ...

Re: Disappearing data
My message on September 6, 2025, 7:23 pm was born out of enthusiasm about finally thinking I had found the culprit. For a long time, I had been turning off the cloud service whenever I was working on documents.
I already explained the situation in the opening post. There's nothing new to reproduce ...

Re: Disappearing data
It's definitely PlanMaker:
When I select a row in a document (click on the row number), data in the row disappear after 15 minutes or so if the document remains open.
My cloud service is not running.

Re: Pop Up gets in the way
If you click on the white square on the top left, next to the 'i', it goes away (as long as you stay in the same document, I think).

Re: Disappearing data
Hello woody44,
This is exactly the thought I got up with today: I need to handle pCloud differently.
Thanks for your link. I haven't checked it out yet, but (of course) I will soon.
