Portable version
Hi:
Congratulations on the 2026 release. I purchased it yesterday and so far it looks great.
In the past there have been options to create a portable version of the suite. This has been an extremely valuable feature for me especially when traveling to other offices. I do not see an option for this ...

Softmaker Office 2026 availability
Hi:
I see that NX 2026 is released. I see the only option for the Office version is still 2024. Will Office 2026 be available in the near future?
Thank you.
Jon

Re: Feature request
Thank you but I have 2024. I assume the option is not in the 2024 version. Could it be added? It is very useful.
Thank you.

Feature request
Unless I am mistaken, there is no way to click on a cell in a very large spreadsheet and have both row and column highlighted. This would help to maintain focus on column and row. I am not suggesting that the highlight be as prominent as it is when selecting cells, just more of a guide. Have a look ...

Re: Incorrect update
Martin, thank you for the hint. I was able to resolve this by deleting all lines beginning with "DOWNL1" This allowed me to download and update to the latest 64 bit build.
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

Re: Incorrect update
1. Please determine if you have the file "portable.txt" in the SoftMaker program folder on the stick.
2. Ensure that you are running SoftMakerUpdaterTool from the stick and not from the local install.
3. Post the contents of your updater.ini file here.
portable.txt is in the proper location ...

Incorrect update
I am running the 64 bit portable version build 1024.Tried to update to the latest build (1030) but noticed the download says the 32 bit version was being downloaded. Obviously I don't want that, so I terminated the download. Tried again and got the same message.

Re: Updating the portable version
I already updated by downloading the latest msi and created another portable install. If this has not been fixed by the next update, I will gladly post a screenshot. But if you expect the screenshot to tell you any more that I originally said ("No valid products found. Please repair the installation ...

Re: Updating the portable version
Thank you, but in 2018 updating could be run from the portable version. In very early versions of 2018 this did not work but it was fixed. Why can't this work in 2021?
