Is there any add-in to facilitate 'markdown'?

The subject header says it all. It would be nice to include 'markdown text' option for users of manuals for GNU/Linux to be able to copy and paste bash scripts.

Markdown is plain text, which TextMaker can open, but it will not display the formatted, rendered version. To edit a Markdown file's formatted (rendered) output within a word processor, you must first convert the Markdown file to a DOCX format using a specialized tool, such as an online converter or a command-line program like Pandoc.
