Error saving file. Disk full or inaccessible

Just upgraded from free 2021 to 2024. Attempted to save the first file using this upgrade and received this error. Tried renaming, different file extensions, tried saving as PDF so at least I'd have a picture version if I had to retype everything, also verified System settings allowed this app access to documents folder, reinstalled app, nothing works. Presently have file open on desktop and can't save it. Is there a solution? I'm MAC desktop Sequoia 15.6.1

PS. I do not have this problem in Planmaker 2024 - I can edit and save files.
