Good morning,
Please, I don't know if this forum is already active, even so, follow my doubt. I'm ready to download the Beta test, and I read that the old version of NX will be replaced. My question is: With the Beta test version, will I have normal access to all my files already saved in the old NX to open them in Beta?

Re: DOUBTS TO ACCESS FILES
Please, I need someone to answer me so I can help by testing the Beta
Re: DOUBTS TO ACCESS FILES
Thank you for your interest in our Beta testing program!
Yes, the Beta version will be able to access all your existing files.
As highlighted on our Beta guidance page, please remember this is Beta software and may contain bugs. We strongly recommend keeping your current stable version of SoftMaker Office NX installed. The two versions can run in parallel.
This allows you to use the stable NX version for your important work and the Beta version specifically for testing. Thank you for helping us improve SoftMaker Office!

Thank you for the answer, but I read that the beta version will replace the original version. Please, how do I keep both versions on a Mac computer?
Re: DOUBTS TO ACCESS FILES
Givien you line of questions I do not think you should be doing any beta testing.

Re: DOUBTS TO ACCESS FILES
Sorry, but I didn't read, and it wasn't said anywhere, that we couldn't ask questions in case of doubts. But if you recommend it, I bow to your suggestion and will not participate in the Beta test, unfortunately.
Re: DOUBTS TO ACCESS FILES
You can use it if you wish, after all you where accepted by the developer team as part of the beta program. What I mean to say is to effectibly beta test any software and be able to give useful feedback developers about issues you find require a bit more of knolodge than a regular user. Seeing that you even are worried about if you can open current files you are working on (yes, you can, but you should not do any serious job on the beta version or work on any important file, just ot be safe) just makes me wonder: Do you feel do you really could help? If you come across a problem would you able to identify if is user-made or is the beta? Would you be able to find out what it is, reproduce it and share the steps to trigger the problem?
Re: DOUBTS TO ACCESS FILES
You're most welcome for Beta testing program, and it's usually safe to use, but as mentioned on the Beta page also
“Please note that the applications are not yet fully developed and debugged. They may have errors and do not yet contain all new functions. As usual in a beta test, you work with the applications at your own risk.”
