Free Office?

Hello --- A few years back -- maybe 2016 -- there was "free office" a free version of soft office --- I would install it on some of my VM's to quickly read a file or an excel file ---

The other day cranked up one of those vm's and when I when to run 'planmaker' it told me it was too old and I should look at 2018 version ---

Is there still a "bare bones" free version of soft office? Thanks
