Linux TM2018 crashes when opening .RTF files

I have sent today numerous TM-generated crash reports, all as have occurred when trying to open .RTF files using Linux TM2018.
TM is crashing EVERY time I try to open an .RTF file.

A notable problem that also occurs during every crash is that TM is dumping 271 SM program files and SM folders into the folder containing the .RTF file I am trying to open. These are listed in my most recent crash report (from about 15 minutes ago).

All the same .RTF files can be opened successfully in Linux by:
- M$Word,
- LibreOffice Writer,
- WS-Office Writer, and
- OnlyOffice Desktop.

May I also hasten to add, I'd still rather use TM2018, in preference to any of the others I mentioned.

Hi, I was able to reproduce the issue and I'm going to report it to the developers.

This RTF file is broken (braces are set incorrectly). The next service pack will work around the errors in this RTF file.
