Classic Interface Window menu non functional

Post by dougrrr »

Using the classic interface I have a Window menu option that shows open documents.
But when I click on one that shows in the menu, it does not switch to that document.
It seems like it should. Other word processors function that way, even Abiword for example.

dougrrr, mine does switch when I pick a document from the Window menu... bit odd that yours doesnt. Im on the classic interface too, and clicking a name in the list brings that doc straight to the front, though to be fair I usually only have two or three open at once. Cant say owt about why yours is being stubborn, but thats what happens on my setup.

dougrrr, i definately agree it should switch... thats the whole point of having the list there. in my experience a menu like that can seem dead when the doc is actually coming forward but staying buried behind another window, so it might be worth minimising the others and trying again. bit of a long shot, mate, but it cost me nowt to check.
