[Font Noto Colors Emoji] does not display symbols in the Symbol feature

I’ve been using Softmaker Office NX Mobile for a long time and have never used any other software.

My favorite feature is the Symbol feature. I tried selecting the Noto Colors emoji font that comes pre-installed in Office, but no symbols appeared. There were just a few empty boxes. This issue needs to be resolved. The Symbol dialog box should support fonts that include colored symbols.

Thank you for looking into this issue. Please make the Symbol dialog box even better. No matter which font is selected, the symbols should still appear. Please make this feature consistent across Textmaker, Planmaker, Presentation, and the desktop version—not just the mobile version.

Is this possible? I’m looking forward to the future of Softmaker Office NX and hope this issue will be improved.

There is a difference between emojis and symbols. Symbols are characters that are not easy to access, usually, fro ma keyboard. We are talking: currency, mathematical, mechanical, electrical, chemical, OS/system... symbols, as well as accented characters and characters from other languages. This feature just happens to suggest by default a few dingbats by default.

Let's not turn a perfectly functional tool into an emoji selection tool. An emoji selection tool is already available on windows.
