Various requests

Post by JJK »

I am very glad with Textmaker, for which I subscribe since 2024. But I have some requests to enhance it :
1) In Microsoft Word we can repeat the last command by the shortcut F4. For example to bold a word, or to insert a row in a table, etc.
2) In LibreOffice Writer, as soon as we have many bulleted paragraph, indented or not, we can move a bulleted paragraph up or down. Even, we can move a group of bulleted paragraphs keeping the hierarchy (indentations).

I have also a question : in the last issue of August 2026, it is said on Softmaker.com that we can now move outlines more easily :
Outline view with drag and drop. The improved outline view in TextMaker displays your document's structure. Drag a heading to a new location, and all its subheadings and paragraphs move with it automatically.
But I don't understand how to do that. Can you explain what and where is outline view, how can I display it ?

Thanks in advance, and cheers for Textmaker

Thank you for your suggestions.

Regarding the Outline View, you can access it via View > Outline. In this view, you can move headings and their associated paragraphs by dragging them to the desired position. This also allows you to move bulleted paragraphs while preserving their hierarchy and indentation.

Therefore, the functionality you mentioned for moving bulleted paragraphs is already available through View > Outline.

Regarding your suggestion to use F4 to repeat the last command, we have forwarded this as an improvement suggestion.
