Feature request - Add custom row number

Post by sebatbg »

Hi there,

It would be great if you could implement an option to set custom number of rows.
LibreOffice Calc and Gnumeric supports them already.
For example:

A user having a spreadsheet with 500000 rows could choose 500000 in row number and spreadsheet will show only rows from file with no additional empty rows.
And for spreadsheets with 2000000 rows it also could be fully loaded.
But there should be also a warning when setting big number of rows that it may slow down the app.

Thank you,

The simplest approach available today is to hide the rows you do not need: select them from the first unused row down to the end of the sheet and hide them via the row header's context menu. The visible result is the same as a shortened worksheet, without any extra setting and without having to specify a row and column count beforehand.
