Thanks for your work on TextMaker. Its workflow is well-designed and it is more compatible with Word than LibreOffice Writer. I would be a paying customer except for one big problem: The font renderer for complex scripts, such as Hebrew, is poor. Writer uses Cairo on Linux for regular typefaces and HarfBuzz for Arabic, Hebrew, and so on. You should consider changing the UI to reflect more than Arabic support if you can fix the font rendering issues. You do make accessing the options for complex scripts and their languages easier than Writer, so thanks there. Yet I cannot get acceptable placement of the dagesh, vowel points, and other marks, such as cantillation marks. HarfBuzz is MIT licensed, so there should be no GPL issues for you to use it. The workaround for me in previous versions of TextMaker has been to use the online version of Word to see if the Hebrew is actually correct, after doing the initial work in TextMaker. I often have projects that use English, German, Latin, Greek, and Hebrew. For example, I worked on a translation of specific passages from Abraham Calov's Biblia Illustrata. What I get paid doing these jobs would easily finance a purchase of SoftMaker Office. But I have no plans to switch until you can fix the font rendering issue.
