Table cell formatting propagates partly

Further to my post "Calculated columns" I would like to report that

Table-defined formatting → propagates.

• Banded rows

• Header row formatting

• Table color scheme

but

Manually applied cell formatting → does not propagate
notably custom vertical borders.

We are unable to reproduce the issue. Please send a screenshot along with the exact steps you followed, so we can investigate further.
