Feature request?

Post by swarfendor437 »

Hi,
I am currently working on finalising the Unofficial Manual for ZorinOS 18.x Core and have started page numbering at 0 for the cover page. When checking object properties of captured screen images it reports that it will be fixed on +1 page number to what is shown. Is it possible to accommodate Page Numbering from zero, so that for example an image fixed on numbered page 128 is not shown as page 129? I am preparing in .docx format which will then be exported to .pdf.

Yes, this is possible in TextMaker.

Please click Layout | group Chapter | Chapter, then click the Page numbering button.

For the cover page chapter, change Page numbering from Increment to Value and enter 0.

TextMaker starts page numbering at 1 by default, but chapter numbering can be reset to any initial value. After this, an object fixed on page 128 should no longer be shown as page 129.
