Hi,
I'm trying the NX Presentations module and want to insert a rectangle and then export it as an image.
When I right-click on the shape, it only offers "Properties", not "Picture: Properties", and there is no subsequent option to export it as an image.
I therefore decided to paste the shape as a picture, and then export it. However, when I go to "paste special", there is no option to paste the shape as an image.
What am I doing wrong please?
Thanks,
Steve

Re: Shapes as Pictures
Thank you for posting your query.
This functionality is not currently possible in SoftMaker Office. However, I have forwarded your suggestion as an improvement suggestion.
In the meantime, as an alternative, you can use any third-party snipping tool to achieve a similar result.

Re: Shapes as Pictures
Thanks. I understand about "snipping", but it isn't as accurate, or as convenient.
I use this functionality regularly in LibreOffice's "Impress" module. LibreOffice allows you to export ANY image, text box, shape/group etc as an image file. It does not force you to cut and paste it as an image first. It also allows you to set the horizontal or vertical number of pixels, and will then scale the object accordingly before exporting it. This is very useful.
Of course, LibreOffice also allows you to paste anything as an image within the presentation, which is also helpful in certain circumstances.
If you are adding this to the list of feature requests, please could all of these features be included? Obviously I can continue to use Impress when I need this functionality, and that's fine, but I do like the NX Presentations module and would love to use it as much as possible!

Re: Shapes as Pictures
I have also added this to the suggestion.
