Unable to download
I am trying to download the Free Office but it tries to install on \D but my PC has no \D so it just return an error that can't daownload and don't even gives me an option to change it. I've tried to use the personalization but it still don't allow me to change it. Why is the app trying to download itself in a inexistent directory? How any other people were able to download this if it just try to install on an inexistent directory??
Re: Unable to download
To help us assist you better, could you please clarify: are you experiencing an issue while trying to download FreeOffice, or while trying to install it?
The download process is managed entirely by your web browser and its settings. If the download is failing, we recommend checking your browser's configuration or trying a different browser.

Re: Unable to download
Due to an improper removal of our programs, residual files, such as registry entries, likely remain, and these can cause issues. You can either use a third-party uninstaller tool like Revo Uninstaller (https://www.revouninstaller.com/) or follow the manual steps for removing SoftMaker Office/FreeOffice explained below:
1. Find and uninstall SoftMaker FreeOffice/Office in the software list in Windows settings.
2. Check for the remaining SoftMaker Office folders and delete them:
C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Roaming\SoftMaker
C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Documents\SoftMaker
C:\ProgramData\SoftMaker
Note: "AppData" and "ProgramData" are hidden folders. You may need to enable visibility of hidden folders in your File Explorer settings.
3. Clean the registry:
a. Press Windows + R, type "regedit", press Enter
b. Backup your registry first: File → Export → Save complete registry
c. Search for SoftMaker entries:
- Press Ctrl + F to open Find
- Search for "SoftMaker" (check all boxes)
- Delete found entries (right-click → Delete)
- Press F3 to find next occurrence
- Repeat until no more entries found
