Is there a way to make the text in the settings, menus, etc. bigger?

Post by melody5697 »

Everything on my computer is too small by default, so I have my text scaling factor set to 1.3. That way I can read my screen without feeling like I'm straining my eyes too much. But it doesn't affect this program, unfortunately. And it seems like the program is just making everything weirdly small? When the zoom level for a document is 100%, doesn't that mean it's supposed to be the size of the actual document? I held up a piece of paper to the screen for comparison and I had to change it to 150% to get it to the right size. Is there anything I can do about this besides changing my screen resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x720? If I do that, this program looks fine, but I should actually be able to use my computer as intended.

To answer your questions:
#1 No, 100% zoom does not necessarily mean the document is shown at its actual, physical printed size. The 100% zoom setting means one pixel on the screen corresponds to one pixel in the document, but the physical size of that pixel is determined by your monitor and the operating system's scaling.

#2 You can change the UI size of SoftMaker FreeOffice 2024 applications in the following ways:
a. In our programs, click "File > Options > Appearance > User interface size" and make adjustments there.
b. In the "Quick Access Toolbar," enable "Touch Mode."
