Printer issue

Just purchased an Asus laptop and downloaded the free Text maker. Had to use the Linux version due to Asus not recognizing Windows programs.

The laptop automatically found the printers, but Textmaker will not recognize them. The printers are in the laptop system and as copy and paste will allow printing, but Textmaker refuses to recognize, or even find the printers.

What do I do? I have to be able to print from the program,

Thank you for your post. To clarify, are you using Windows or Linux as your base operating system?

As a next step, you can try renaming the /SoftMaker/Settings folder within your Home directory. If this does not resolve the issue, please try reinstalling FreeOffice.
