I'm still using FlexiPDF Professional 2022. The new features in 2025 aren't enough to make it worth the time and expense of upgrading eight computers.
The problem: EVERY time I start FlexiPDF, I am greeted by a nag screen that says there is an updated version available, and it asks me if I want to download and install the update. If I click "Yes" to accept the update ... I then get a screen telling me that I already have the latest version of FlexiPDF 2022, but that I can update to FlexiPDF 2025.
This is annoying. There should be some way to banish that notice permanently.

I do that ... every time the prompt appears. And the next time I start FlexiPDF, the prompt reappears.

Re: Annoying nag screen when opening
If you run the app twice in a row as admin (right-click the FlexiPDF.exe file and select "Run as admin"), does the "A newer version is available" prompt still appear?
Based on my testing, the flag is stored in a registry entry under "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SoftMaker\FlexiPDF."
If FlexiPDF cannot read or write the flag, that would explain the prompt reappearing. Insufficient Windows permissions or aggressive third-party security software can cause this. With default settings, there should be no issues.
You can also try reinstalling the app to see if that helps.
