Setting the default font and size for everything in the TextMaker app

Hello Softmaker community,
How (and where) do you set the default font and size in the TextMaker 2024 app?
I only know how to do it when you start a new file (which is the default font and size every time),
but it doesn't work when you open an "old" (already written) file.
And feel free to show it with screenshots in your reply.
And I use a translation program (from German to English).
And I use Windows 11 24H2 64Bit,
and I have administrator access to my computer (e.g.
to change something in the registry).

The default font attributes only apply to new documents. Why would you want to change the formatting of an existing document when you open it? Most people are more concerned with making certain that the format of an existing document does NOT change when it is opened.

I do not think there is any word processing program that will do what you want to accomplish.
