The attached docx file was created in Word and used to create the PDF file, by a third party.
When I open the document in Textmaker Professional 2024 (rev S1218.0824) 64bit, the text beside the frames appears at twice the expected distance from the left margin. If "text wrapping" is changed from "square" to "behind text", then the text is where one would expect it to have been in the first place.

Re: Wrapping of text beside a frame
This is a well-known bug that has already been reported several times: When text wrapping is set to "Square" or "Contour", the distance of the left margin is no longer calculated from the page border (as it should be) but from the frame border. I hope SoftMaker will fix this soon as it is rather annoying.
Re: Wrapping of text beside a frame
Thank you for reporting this problem with sample file. I have forwarded the details.
Re: Wrapping of text beside a frame
I don't think wrapping should be calculated to the page border or margin. I have always treated the wrap distance as the distance from the text frame or image frame to the surrounding test. Page borders or margins don't enter into this at all.Jossi wrote: ↑Sat Oct 26, 2024 12:24 pm This is a well-known bug that has already been reported several times: When text wrapping is set to "Square" or "Contour", the distance of the left margin is no longer calculated from the page border (as it should be) but from the frame border. Am I misunderstanding something? [Edit: Yes, I misunderstood what Jossi wrote. What he said is exactly correct. That is the crux of the problem.]
After opening the sample file in Word, TextMaker, and LibreOffice Writer, it appears that in Textmaker the wrap distance was changed to zero and the entire paragraph was indented from the image frame rather than from the page margin. To correct it, I had to select the first two paragraphs, remove the indentation, and then go into the image properties to increase the right and bottom wrap margins from zero to 0.2".
LibreOffice Writer didn't require this correction.
