Currently KDE Plasma is the only desktop that offers a global menu applet out of the box.
LibreOffice already utilizes this feature.
If there would be support for it that would mean that the application menu bar wouldn't have to take extra space, instead it would be in the top panel at system level ...

I found an issue that affects all SoftMaker Office apps, 2024, NX and Beta.
If a file path, including the file name, but excluding the "/" exceeds 240 characters, the file cannot be opened.
An error message shows up that says the path cannot be located.
