My document templates are working.
I saved a copy of a text document as Open Document instead of SoftMaker. It opened successfully with Libre Office. The programs aren't arguing over who gets to open which copy of the document.
Textmaker did warn that I have to install Font Forge if I want to ...

The only problem so far is the program freezes when I switch printers.

I am also running the beta on Linux Mint. The only problem so far is the program freezes when I switch printers. I avoid this by exporting to PDF and printing the PDF.
I am not sure if the printer problem is in Textmaker, the OS, or the printer's own software.
