My document templates are working.
I saved a copy of a text document as Open Document instead of SoftMaker. It opened successfully with Libre Office. The programs aren't arguing over who gets to open which copy of the document.
Textmaker did warn that I have to install Font Forge if I want to print Open Type fonts. I did so and everything printed fine.

My text templates are responding correctly. A spreadsheet document responded well to some faked data, a fictional gasoline purchase in a fuel economy spreadsheet.

So far this version works great, and I will probably upgrade to 2026.
