Re: Macros
Ok. Understand all that. Bottom line: Softmaker have no plans to offer a macro solution for Linux - it clearly isn't a priority for them - so users will need to decide whether to pay for their software or use a free alternative that does. It's a shame, because Planmaker is very good in many ways and ...

Re: Macros
... and I replied, respectfully asking why LibreOffice and OnlyOffice can offer macros on Linux - despite the technical constraints - but Softmaker can't.

Re: Macros
Thanks - I understand that, but I'm not sure that explains why Softmaker offers macro support to Windows users, but not Linux users?

Re: Macros
Thanks. Just to help me understand... How is it that LibreOffice and OnlyOffice both offer macros for the Linux versions of their suites? Is there something different about your approach to macros that makes it more difficult under Linux? It's a real shame, because this is a big "gap".

Re: Macros
Genuine question - can you briefly explain why Linux users won't get macros, but Windows users do? Is that a commercial decision (i.e. there are more Windows users, so you invest more development in their version of Softmaker Office) or something technical about Linux?

Re: SoftMaker forces 16px icons regardless of higher resolutions available in icon theme
Thank you for raising this issue and explaining it better than I can! It's been driving me mad for ages. In the end, I just got rid of all the Softmaker Office icons (instructions here: https://www.softmaker.com/en/support/installation/linux/office-nx) and Mint reverted back to what I had previously ...

Strange Subscription Message
Hi,
I have set up a regular subscription for Softmaker NX, which renews automatically each month.
However, the software has just announced that my subscription ends on the renewal date and says I need to renew it, or the software will stop working.
Do I need to do anything? Why has the message ...

Re: NX Updates
Thank you! That means I will continue to pay my monthly subscription, in the hope that the new version will fill some of the gaps vs Excel. Will there be any other improvements to Planmaker, beyond XLOOKUP and FILTER?

Oh! - so we will get the major new version within the next 2-3 months, complete with XLOOKUP and FILTER (etc.)?

Re: NX Updates
Great. Do we get a clue what it might be? Will it help the spreadsheet become more compatible with modern Excel functions?

NX Updates
Hi,
I am currently paying for the NX version of Softmaker Office, which I understand receives regular updates.
I'm yet to receive any updates. How often are they released please and is there any information on what the next one will contain?

Re: YEARFRAC
Thank you for responding on a Saturday! Is there a list of new functions that will be supported in the next major release please? I think Planmaker is very good but I am finding a few "gaps" when trying to use my old Excel files. Thanks.

YEARFRAC
Hi,
I am currently working on a file that was originally created in Excel, which includes the YEARFRAC function.
It seems that Planmaker does not support this, so I''ve had to revert to OnlyOffice, which does.
Will this function be added in the next major release please, alongside XLOOKUP and ...
