If not proprietary, what algorithm is used to compress image files, i.e. bicubic, Lanczos, etc?????
Thanks in advance.
Textmaker 2024 image compression
Re: Textmaker 2024 image compression
We use JPEG and PNG to compress images.
Re: Textmaker 2024 image compression
What about image resizing/resampling??? Thanks.
Re: Textmaker 2024 image compression
JPEG and PNG are already low size image formats.
You can scaling feature by double-click on the image > Select Format tab from object properties dialog > Scaling section > There you can set horizontal and vertical scaling with aspect ratio lock also.
For details on image compression, please refer to compressing pictures section of our user's manual.

Re: Textmaker 2024 image compression
To clarify my question: In Textmaker, on the Compress Pictures window, if I have a picture of Photo quality (330 ppi) resolution, and I choose to reduce the quality to Print resolution (220 ppi), what algorithm is used to remove the unneeded pixels? Is it one of the common or standard algorithms (bicubic, etc) or is it proprietary? If it is not proprietary, I would like to know which one is used? Thanks.
