Different colours for charts apart from Excel 2010

Post by AllanWhoops » Thu Oct 22, 2020 5:11 pm

Hi,

Is it possible to have different palettes when creating charts apart from the Excel 2010 ones which are, to say the least, dull?

Many thanks,

Allan

Thanks for getting back to me.

If you create a basic chart you get the following default colours
2020-10-29 13_41_31-0.xlsx _ - PlanMaker.tiff
(18.63 KiB) Downloaded 44 times
2020-10-29 13_46_43-Object properties.png
2020-10-29 13_48_50- _ - PlanMaker.tiff
(64.17 KiB) Downloaded 41 times
Somewhere within properties, it comes up as Excel 2010 colours. Would it be possible to have different palettes to choose from similar to LibreOffice?

Thank,

Allan

Thanks for sharing additional information. Color palettes are fixed but after creating the chart if you want to customize the colors you can click on individual series > Right click > Click on Series : Properties... > Format Tab > Fill > There we have multiple options like color / effects etc where you can design new colors and effects as per your requirements.

Thanks for the update. Rather than change each item individually, you may consider having different palettes to make life easier.

All the best,

Allan
