Just for interest, I tried opening a BIG spreadsheet on my laptop that has 32Gb of memory. The spreadhseet had:
worksheet 1: (rows,cols) = (40,16384)
worksheet 2: (rows,cols) = (20,24)
worksheet 3: (rows,cols) = (8000,16)
worksheet 4: (rows,cols) = (17000,17 ...

Just to confirm: I have the same problem on Arch Linux when using openssl-3.3.0 (that is, textmakernx etc crashes immediately). Simply downgrading to openssl-3.2.1 and then restarting Linux fixed the problem for me.
