Are there any plans for Linux to make a formula editor for a text editor?

I also installed FreeOffice in my classroom and hoped to teach students that there are good alternatives to MS. But when it comes to the equation editor, you have to switch to Google Documents. And then the students wonder why two editors? Maybe the developers will listen to the requests and port ...

Kubuntu 22.04? FreeOffice 2024, if i choice "multilevel list button" its work for me.

Has something changed in the plans of the developers to add a formula editor to the Linux version. Made a really nice product and would really like to see a formula editor to completely move away from having to use MS.
