BasicMaker is still not implemented for Linux on the Seventh Private Beta. A very serious limitation.

Disappointed there is no macro language support for Linux.
With no macro language, PlanMaker cannot compete with Gnumeric that supports Python.
Linux does have freebasic and Gambas .
The Linux version of PlanMaker should be able to use at least one of the above linked languages for macro ...

Had the same problem on Softmaker 2024 rev S1210.0217 after linux manjaro [ Stable Update ] 2024-05-13
The problem appears to be related to openssl.
The problem can be resolved by disabling the network for the process.
Temporarily modifying launcher commands for the respective apps:
unshare -r ...
