Set default page to A4

Hello,
I have searched high and low and I still couldn't find out how to set the default page to A4 instead of Letter.
Modifying Normal.tmvx does not matter. This only work fine in Linux.
However in Windows I doesn't ...or maybe I'm not modifying the righ Normal.tmvx ?
Do I have to tinker the ini ...
