I do not believe I installed the update, but I had been getting notifications about it. I didn't confirm the install of the update either, but it may have installed on it's own. However, when I shut down the time before the files were gone, I hadn't seen anything about an update, nor when I started ...

Error opening C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\FileName

I have many school files on my computer, but then when I tried to load them, this error came up.
I looked at the file chain myself, and they're not there.
Where did they go, and is there any way to restore my files?
