Re: Secure login for forum
Does a forum login really need to be secure? I use other forums (including phpBB forums like this one) which do have a secure login, but I don't see any security issues as long as forum accounts are not linked to customers' online store accounts.

Re: Feature request
I'd like to see this changed. It's really quite inconvenient having a modal dialog for 'Search and replace'.

Re: Any way to "Make it fit"?
Auto-fitting to a (fixed height) text frame would suffice for a block of text that "needs to fit snugly onto one page", but I can't see how to achieve this in TextMaker.

Re: Command button to access website (i.e. any online dictionary)
There are various translation websites but I have only tested Majstro. It does a very good job, translating to and from some 60 different languages. ( http://www.majstro.com/Web/Majstro/home.php ) Majstro and similar translation websites is better than Google Translate for the purpose of single-wor...

Re: Default language issues
If I select English (UK) as my default language, "color" is flagged in your document, whereas "colour" would not. That's what I see in my UK English installation. Note that the dictionary data for both US English and UK English comes from the same file, english.dic. The entries just have flags to w...

Re: Whats the difference between 40 bit & 128 bit encryption of pdf?
It would seem I have to answer the question myself. It would seem that you have answered the question in your topic title, but not the question that you raised in the last paragraph of your OP: But what consideration makes you choose between 40 bit and 128 bit encryption? I don't know the answer to...

Re: I can't uninstall Softmaker
I'm sure that 7-zip didn't jump from your embedded version, 9.20 to the then current version of 16 in one giant leap. So this tells me that the installer I used had been out of date for a long time. Just for information, the 7-Zip changelog shows that there really was a "giant leap" in the numberin...

Thanks, Martin. I guess the reason why I didn't find it is that I didn't look very hard!

Re: Can Textmaker create a PDF locked for copying?
When I create/save/publish a PDF containing the text and graphics displayed on screen, can I lock the contents so that it cannot be copied? Is there a Textmaker function I can use? If TextMaker has such a function, I haven't found it. However, you can use the free BeCyPDFMetaEdit to edit your PDF f...
