My son downloaded the free version before going overseas where he does not have internet access. Now, he tried to open the product, but it says that there are no more days to access and he needs to enter a product or activation key. He also said that he needs to enter his email address to receive messages, but he doesn't have access to his email or the internet.
Can you please advise?
Cannot access product
Re: Cannot access product
Internet access is required to request a free product key and activate FreeOffice.

Re: Cannot access product
While we should be grateful to have access to such a fantastic software package completely free of charge, I believe it should be communicated more clearly to potential users that an internet connection and a valid email address are required. Otherwise, users risk being locked out of FreeOffice just one week after installation.

Re: Cannot access product
I cannot get a product key because it says "can't connect to the internet", although that's how I downloaded the programme. What else can I do?
Re: Cannot access product
It appears that your FreeOffice software is unable to access the internet. This is often caused by security settings on your computer. To help resolve this, please try the following steps:
1. Check Security Software: Temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall to see if it is blocking FreeOffice. Remember to re-enable it afterward.
2. Proxy Settings: If you use a proxy server, try disabling it temporarily to test the connection.
3. Malware Scan: Run a full system scan to ensure your computer is free from malware, which can sometimes interfere with internet access.
