It is not possible to insert emojis

Post by Văn Quang Nguyễn VN »

I’ve encountered a problem: inserting emojis from the keyboard. However, when I insert them, strange characters appear, such as squares, etc. I’ve tried using a different keyboard, but it didn’t work. I’ve checked the Samsung keyboard settings, but there’s no way to fix the issue.

I’ve also tried switching to a different font, but that didn’t work either. The problem occurs in Textmaker, Planmaker and Presentation. What should I do?

I’m using a Galaxy A04S running Android 13. I’m using the Samsung keyboard.

Thank you!

I didn't know much about the English language, so I had to use a translation tool. I love Vietnam. My hometown 🇻🇳 🇻🇳 🇻🇳 🇻🇳

I’ve encountered the same problem.

It’s a nightmare trying to insert emojis from the keyboard into Textmaker, Planmaker and Presentation. With some emojis, no strange characters appear when inserted, but the emoji itself doesn’t show up. With others, strange characters do appear when inserted.

It’s a nightmare with version 2026. I checked the Softmaker website: ‘Inserting emojis is Windows-only’. If inserting emojis is exclusive to Windows, then the mobile version won’t be synchronised. Although the mobile version has many emojis on the keyboard, they cannot actually be inserted. If you try to insert them, an error occurs.

Workarounds such as changing the keyboard by downloading different software or clearing the cache have all proved ineffective. There is no way to resolve the issue.
