These features are intended for all operating systems (FreeOffice, Softmaker Office NX and one-off purchase versions):
For Textmaker and Presentation
1. Cut Paper
This feature is extremely useful for those who are forgetful and tend to forget to reformat the page size, resulting in excess page when printing. Adding a pair of scissors icon to the top of the ‘Home’ tab would help resolve this issue. Simply select the icon, then move the mouse to cut paper; on a mobile device, use your finger.When this feature is selected, the paper is cut wherever the cursor moves. To put it more simply, this is known as page cutting.
This feature also saves users time, as they no longer need to go to the Layout tab, select a size template or decide manually.
For Textmaker, Planmaker and Presentation
2. Change the colour of the rulers (horizontal and vertical)
This feature is certainly located in the View tab under Options in the File tab, with two options:
+ Change the colour of the horizontal ruler
+ Change the colour of the vertical ruler
When the user taps any command button for either of these features, a dialogue box appears with a quick colour picker and the familiar ‘Define Color’ function. Select your favourite color, click ‘OK’, and hey presto! The horizontal ruler is now purple, whilst the vertical ruler is red. The numbers remain clearly visible, though. No problem.
3. Change the colour of the status bar:
This feature is certainly located on the Interface tab of the Options menu. It provides a quick color picker and the familiar ‘Define color’ function. Select a color, and the result is that the status bar is now bright red, but the text remains clearly legible.
