After some difficulty with the installation process, I now have installed versions of SoftMaker Office Professional 2024 and SoftMaker Office NX Beta, both pinned to the bar at the bottom of the screen (using Zorin OS) for easy launching, but the icons are identical. Would it be possible to provide a "Beta" icon so that this program can be correctly identified?

You are correct that both the stable and beta versions of SoftMaker Office NX currently share the same icons.

A potential solution is to change the icon at the operating system level. You can try to manually assign a different icon to the beta version's shortcut to tell them apart easily.

Alternatively, a simple workaround is to pin the shortcuts to different locations. For instance, you could pin the stable version to the far left of your taskbar and the beta version to the far right. Personally, I keep the stable version on my desktop and pin the beta version to my taskbar.
