In the real world, most people need to exchange files/documents with other people and/or with companies, and most people, most companies, and almost all government agencies and offices -- especially in the United States -- use Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365. Saving files in the Microsoft formats is essential.

Here. I’m just talking about this: I use the Softmaker format

It’s better to use Softmaker’s native format. I have a few documents and when I open them, they’re intact

Regarding: ‘Freedom Document Format’. This is a name I’ve come up with myself
I love Softmaker and won’t use any other software

I love the Softmaker file format. I I really like Softmaker software because the software updates always include new features

Maths, mate, fair enough on the native format... in my experience it does open intact on my own machines, no bother at all. One small thing from me though, i keep a pptx copy of every quiz on a USB stick as well, just in case the landlord's laptop decides to have a mood. "Freedom Document Format" is a decent name to be fair, bit catchier than owt the official lot came up with 🙂
