A review of Softmaker software

Post by Văn Phước Nguyễn »

I’ve been using your software since May or June, I can’t quite remember. When I installed the software, I realised that the ‘Home’ tab in Textmaker and Planmaker is 99 per cent identical to that in Word and Excel. That’s absolutely brilliant. The ‘Home’ tab in Presentation is also 95 per cent identical to that in PowerPoint.

Your software is the best in the world. There is no software in the world that can completely replace Microsoft Office. Softmaker is the only one that can replace Microsoft Office. Microsoft Office crams unnecessary features into its software, such as: signature lines; Power Query; Editor; icons; 3D models; and drop-down menus (text boxes). Softmaker is brilliant for not including these unnecessary features in its software

I rate your software very highly. Your software is the best in the world. I love Softmaker because it’s compact, lightweight and runs quickly. And I’ll never use any other software. I’ll only ever use Softmaker

Thank you, Softmaker, for creating such brilliant software. I also wish the Softmaker team a peaceful and enjoyable working day.

I would also like to expose further truths about the so-called Microsoft Office:
+ You cannot change the colour of the workspace
+ There is no classic interface, despite the large number of staff
+ The software is illogical: in Excel, ‘Border’ and ‘Cell Shading’ are crammed into the ‘Font’ group on the ‘Home’ tab instead of being placed in a separate group
+ Features are crammed in incorrectly: different types of straight lines are crammed into the ‘Shape’ feature.
+ Tracking users and collecting data
+ Creating a Microsoft account is difficult and involves solving puzzles
+Office is very resource-intensive and takes up a lot of storage space
+The subscription is very expensive

Superfluous features created by Microsoft:
+ Editor
+ Speech-to-text
+ Icons
+ 3D models
+ Online pictures
+ Online videos
+ Signature lines
+ Cover pages
+Blank page: Using a page break creates a new page. A blank page is indeed a redundant feature
+Drop-down menu in the text box
+Search bar above the title bar

I support Softmaker’s approach to software development. My decision not to use other software is the right one, as it saves storage space. One Softmaker programme is sufficient.

I think Softmaker should advertise more aggressively to attract more users in Vietnam and other countries around the world. That would increase the user base.

Privacy and document ownership are extremely important. Using Microsoft Office in the long term is not at all advisable, as every time you open the software or create a document, Microsoft tracks your activity without your knowledge. Your documents belong to you, not to Microsoft.

If you want to protect your documents and maintain your privacy, switch to Softmaker.
I didn't know much about the English language, so I had to use a translation tool. I love Vietnam. My hometown 🇻🇳 🇻🇳 🇻🇳 🇻🇳
