Tip: Draw a straight line without it becoming broken or jagged

Post by Văn Quang Nguyễn VN »

This post of mine is intended as a guide for users. It is not spam.

Usually, when drawing a straight line, it can sometimes appear broken or jagged. This doesn’t very nice. To solve this problem, I have a solution that’s a legitimate and safe ‘hack’:

1. Go to the ‘Insert’ tab and select ‘Line’
2. Select the type of line you want
3. Draw a tiny, minuscule line on the page – as small as possible and very short
4. Right-click to open the context menu. Then select the last option in the menu. Go to the ‘Format’ tab. Set ‘Height’ to 0; set ‘Width’ to 0. If you want to draw a straight line, you must keep ‘Height’ at 0. Simply adjust ‘Width’ to the desired length. If you do not want to draw a straight line but a slanted one, simply set ‘Height’ to 0 and ‘Width’ to 0. Then re-enter the values for ‘Height’ and ‘Width’ with the numbers you require.

After the ‘hacking’. I’ve added a few straight lines to this image; it’s not a glitch where ‘one straight line gives rise to many straight lines’.

I followed the instructions. This method works in Textmaker, Planmaker, and Presentation. Finally, I’ve found a solution.

In general, this method applies to Textmaker, Planmaker, and Presentation. It’s especially useful for math teachers, since they sometimes need to draw geometric figures in tests or exams that look very nice and are completely error-free.
