APT repository: dists/stable/InRelease returns 403 Forbidden

Since today (9 Oct 2026), apt update fails with:
E: Failed to fetch https://shop.softmaker.com/repo/apt/dis ... /InRelease 403 Forbidden

My setup follows your current installer (signed-by=/etc/apt/keyrings/softmaker.gpg, key from repo/apt/softmaker-repo.asc). The 403 occurs over both IPv4 and IPv6 and with an APT user agent; it is a plain Apache 403 page. The key file https://shop.softmaker.com/repo/apt/softmaker-repo.asc returns 200, so it looks like a permissions issue on dists/stable/ on the server.

System: Tuxedo OS (Ubuntu-based), amd64.

The server was so well protected that nobody could actually access the repository anymore.

This is fixed now.
