Hi all,
I've created a PMDX file that has a chart with 2 series plotted on it.
The markers on Series 2 don't seem to stay enabled after I save the file.
I've encountered this problem before on a different file that I had created from scratch. I must admit that I'm not sure if that problem had a specific cause/solution so I was surprised that the problem appeared on a completely new file today.
By the way, the second series includes deliberate "noise" which can be visualised by holding down F9 (when the markers are displayed anyway!).
The missing markers happens with both XLSX and PMDX file formats.
Can you reproduce it?
Thank you!

Re: Series markers disappearing
Thanks for posting your concern.
We were unable to reproduce the issue with the markers not being visible in the bar chart after saving and reopening the file. We have attached the file we saved after applying the markers.
Regarding the noise when pressing F9: the second series uses the RAND function. RAND is recalculated whenever you press F9, so the values change is an expected behaviour.

Re: Series markers disappearing
Thank you! I'll try your saved file. It is odd that this has happened to me a few times, so I really want to know what I'm doing wrong. I will re-try everything!
By the way, my mention of noise was to explain that I knew I had introduced a deliberate noise (to test my models) so I am aware (and very happy!) that noise is re-calculated every time you press F9. It's an important part of my modelling, it wasn't a criticism or problem.
All the best,
Jez

Re: Series markers disappearing
I think you may have misunderstood my original problem.
The problem is when enabling markers on Series 2.
They disappear after re-opening the file.
Your file has the markers on Series 1, which doesn't have that problem.
Because both series lie on the same curve, you can only select series 2 from the item selector shown here:

Re: Series markers disappearing
Thank you for clarifying this. I can reproduce it now and have forwarded the details for further investigation.
